Awareness and Education

One of the best ways to inform campus IT users about methods to increase their knowledge and foster good computing habits is to provide IT security awareness training.

At an institution as large as ours, your role as an IT user is governed by several multi-faceted processes, procedures and policies. Each is designed to preserve the integrity and availability of institutional data you work with and to ensure a reasonable expectation of privacy, without infringing on the overall mission of the University.

The awareness training materials offered to campus include seminars/presentations, online resources and printed materials. The following links will guide you to the appropriate online best practices, policies and tools to increase your awareness efforts as they relate to your role in safeguarding IT security and privacy on campus.
